Prizes for Exam Performance
  1. ACET Prize Award
    • ACET Award is instituted by Parikh Parivar Prize fund and (Late) A S Gupta Prize Fund.
    • This Prize fund has been constituted for student scoring highest marks in April/October ACET exam.
    • The Award consists of personalized Trophy and Prize money of Rs. 10,000/-
    • The award is presented in the “Global Conference of Actuaries” in the Actuarial Gala Functions and Awards (AGFA) Ceremony in February every year.
    • Details of candidates will be published on the website and in the Actuary India magazine.

    a) Parikh Parivar Prize Fund

    • This Award is given to the candidate scoring highest marks in ACET Exam conducted in the month of October.

    b) Late A S Gupta Prize Fund

    • This Award is given to the candidate scoring highest marks in ACET Exam conducted in the month of April.
  2. Prize Fund for Highest Marks
    • The Prize fund for highest marks is instituted by contribution given by various donors to Institute of Actuaries of India.
    • This Prize fund has been constituted for student scoring highest marks in June/November examinations.
    • The Award consists of prize money of Rs. 5000/-
    • Details of candidates will be published on the website and in the Actuary India magazine.

    • The Award is presented in the “Global Conference of Actuaries” in the Actuarial Gala Functions and Awards (AGFA) Ceremony in February every year.

    The awards are presented in the “Global Conference of Actuaries” in the Actuarial Gala Functions and Awards (AGFA) Ceremony in February every year.

    i. Principal Financial Group Award for Associate ship
    This Award Instituted by Principal Financial Group to the Student who completing Associateship within 3 years will receive Gold Medallion worth Rs. 25,000/-. There will be only one award in a year. In case of tie, the shortest time from the date of joining would be taken. In case, the tie still exists than it would be decided in favor of the younger candidate. If tie still exists than a decision would be taken at that point in time.

    ii. Meena Sidhwani Award Fund - Fellowship
    The Scheme of Prizes / Awards is effective from year 2002. This award is given to perpetuate the Memory of Ms. Meena Sidhwani. This Award maintain by the Institute and given to the Student who completing Fellowship within 4.5 years from the date of joining will receive Gold Medallion worth Rs. 25,000/. There will be only one award in a year. If tie still exists than a decision would be taken at that point in time.
